We are urgently looking for an experienced, hands-on site Site Supervisor / Engineer for management of commercial and residential sites in Islamabad. The Candidate must be able to perform the following duties:
Site Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains project administration in a correct and timely manner.
- Orders materials and equipment and takes care of the necessary permits.
- Accomplishes construction human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Assesses safety and finance goals.
- Manages sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting contractors.
- Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews.
- Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures.
- Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope.
- Approves construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases.
- Prevents fines and work interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures.
- Responsible to carry out material inspections and liaise with Client Representatives.
- Prepare work progress reports.
- Surveying and record keeping
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
- Cross-check sub-contractor invoice
- To Verify & approved the Labor Payment (Daily wages of Labor) & submit it into Accounts office.
- Provided Technical & Field work / activities reports to General Manager & Project In charge.
- To check & verify the Bills of contractors, Sub-contractors & local vendors.
- Making the Bills of Construction Works or Bill of Quantities (B.O.Q) with respect of Measurements.
- Preparing Status Reports, Presentations As & When Required
- Checking the form work and steel placement as per approved drawings.
- Checking the layout work of proposed building.
- Preparing bar bending schedule, quantity and cost estimation as per drawings.
Site Supervisor Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to read construction blueprints and store elevation drawings
- Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects with urgent deadlines
- Great time management and problem-solving skills
