Accounts / Finance Manager

Hayat Kimya Pakistan (a leading FMCG Multinational) looking for energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our company. He/she will be responsible to provide strong direction across company’s operations with emphasis on preparation of Financial Statements, Management of Accounting System, Taxation and Corporate Secretarial Matters, Knowledge of Tax Exemptions under Income Tax Ordinance & SEZ Act., Treasury&Daily Financial Operations, Account Receivable&Credit Risk Management and Payable Accounting. He/she will also be responsible to liaison with banks and multiple stakeholders across all levels to achieve organizational goals. Responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information

The ideal candidate must be CA/ACMA/ACCA with at least of 10+ years of accounting, finance and taxation experience with a proven track record of successfully leading the finance function of large manufacturing entity and FMCG

Skills;

Perfect knowledge of accounting principles, International Financial Reporting Standards, Income Tax / Sales Tax & Custom Laws, Knowledge of Tax Exemptions under Income Tax Ordinance & SEZ Act., Company ‘s Regulations, treasury&daily financial operations, Account receivables&credit risk management and payable accounting
Having good experience of implementing / handling SAP ERP (active SAP user) + Advanced computer skills on MS Office
Attention to details and ability to meet deadlines
Flexible working hours (weekdays and weekends)
Excellent analytical and decision making skills
Excellent command on English language
Proven working experience of minimum 10 years in managing accounting section in FMCG and large manufacturing concern.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, IFRS, Taxation laws and SECP regulations.
Ability to work under pressure, analytical thinking as well as exceptional organizational and commercial skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Required strong leadership and communication skills.
Preference given to external audit experienced candidate

Key responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) the following:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting, Finance&Treasury, Tax, Account Receivable Departments
Preparation of monthly & annual financial statements.
Ensuring an accurate & timely monthly and year-end close.
Coordinating with internal/external auditors.
Overseeing all type of tax matters and coordination with tax consultants
Proactive participation in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies & procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process & system changes.
Collaboration with other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
Ensure effective financial system; identify risks & develop counter strategies to mitigate risks.
Supervision of departmental budgets & Variance analysis and identification of cost reduction opportunities.
Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
