Android Developer required on a project basis to implement already functional (available on App Store) iOS app on Android platform.
Position will be part time and will have stringent deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Take a product through the entire lifecycle of analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation and support
- Continuously improving personal and technical skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in Android development
- Understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with Android Architecture Components (specifically, MVC and ViewModel)
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Experience with Firebase, Firebase Auth, Push Notifications.
- Proficient understanding of "Git" code versioning tool
