Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful international retail business as a Regional HR Manager.

The Role;

  • To provide a high quality and commercially focused HR service.
  • To keep up to date with employment legislation and best practice.
  • Responsible for developing effective working relationships whilst and able to work cross functionally to deliver common business objectives.
  • Influence, coach and guide management through a variety of employment law and complex employee relations matters, advising on best practice resolutions.
  • Manage the employee sickness and absence policy and process, working with management to ensure all cases are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Provide guidance and support regarding Maternity Leave/Pay, Flexible Working, Paternity/Parental Leave.
  • To support Managers in positively managing performance and conduct of employees during their employment with the Company.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of employment law and HR best practice to ensure advice and guidance is both accurate and up-to-date; and in turn ensure that stakeholders are appropriately updated on new employment legislation and good practices are implemented within the remit of influence.

About you;

    • You’ll have experience of working in a generalist HR role, either currently working as a HR Manager or as a Senior HR Advisor looking for your next step up.
    • Excellent up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice in policies and processes.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and HR Systems.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to guide and influence as well as having the confidence to challenge current practices appropriately.
    • You’ll have the ability to work in an autonomous, decision-making role.
