We are looking for an experienced, self-driven, and motivated Team Leader to join our team! As a Team leader, you will be responsible for training team members, setting strategy, and monitoring progress towards goals. You should have strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and delegation skills.
Responsibilities
- Set clear team goals and KPIs
- Delegate tasks and set project deadlines
- Oversee day-to-day teams' operation and performance
- Create a healthy and motivating work environment and atmosphere
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
- Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Maintain high code standards via peer code reviews
- Optimization of the platforms for maximum speed and scalability
- Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, estimates, and work plans.
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Assists to perform day-to-day database system administration, including daily checklists, backup verification, log review, security maintenance, performance tuning (analysis, indexing, updating statistics, etc.).
- Keep up to date with the latest technology trends
- Should have the heart to refactor legacy codebases and technologies
Skills And Qualifications
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript(ECMA 5 and 6),AJAX,JQuery, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS/SCSS and CSS3.
- Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors, such as LESS and SASS
- Strong experience with web design, REST Web Service Architecture, and GraphQL
- Proficient knowledge of back-end programming languages, frameworks, and servers such as Core PHP( 5.2, 5.6, 7+), Laravel, Lumen, Slim, Symphony, Apache/Nginx, etc.
- Hands-on experience on SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySql, MongoDB+, SQL, RDBMS, etc.
- Should have the know-how of build tools like Webpack, Babel, gulp/grunt.
- Strong Grip on ORMs such as eloquent
- Experience with search engines like Elastic Search or Algolia.
- Experience with socket programming and push notifications.
- Experience in Continuous Integration, Continuous deployment (Jenkins), and DevOps culture
- Experience with multi-threading and concurrency
- Experience with debugging, performance profiling, and optimization
- Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories.
- Understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment, AuthO 2.0 Protocol, and SSO.
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
- Data migration, transformation, and scripting
- Setup and administration of backups
- Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests (Good to have)
- Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
