We are looking for a Web Developer (with immediate effect) responsible for designing, developing and implementing web solutions ( 'Wordpress', 'Shopify', 'Squarespace', Custom Code) The ideal candidate is a talented individual with a keen aesthetic sense & extensive technical expertise. Someone who can work alongside a team and independently in the creation, maintenance, and updates of websites for clients in a variety of industries.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web services and program applications is essential to succeeding in this role.
The candidate must demonstrate excellent time and project management skills
The candidate must be confident in client communication.(Comprehension, spoken, writing English)
Responsibilities:
- Expertise & experience of major Web platforms i.e. 'Wordpress', 'Shopify', 'Squarespace'. (Conceptualizing creative ideas for new websites. )
- Design & development of the overall architecture of the websites.
- Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements.
- Implementation of robust set of services/APIs/widgets to integrate various new features - as per the project's needs.
- Ensuring website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet
- Optimizing sites for maximum speed and scalability to match the specific platform
- Establishing design guidelines, standards, Basic SEO and best practices.
- Along with Implementation of security and data protection

- English ) Create websites and user interfaces, using standard HTML/CSS practices, while incorporating data from back-end databases and services
- Create and maintain workflows with teams to provide visibility and to ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in web design/CS, or related field (Degree is a plus but not mandatory)
- Working knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services, such as APIs, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, security principles.
- Meet regularly with business stakeholders and management to understand and refine business and functional requirements and determine project scopes and specifications
- Develop and maintain strategic operational systems, tools, and processes, including participation in tactical and strategic development projects
- Ability to lead and manage a team of designers & developers. (Providing technical leadership within the IT department)
- Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile vs, desktop) and optimizing output to match the specific platform
- Work quickly and carefully to complete small edits requested by customers, develop plans for completing larger projects, collaborate with colleagues, and suggest new solutions to improve existing websites Understanding and knowledge of best UI/UX practices & applications (XD, Figma, invision etc)
