Responsibilities
Below are some of the responsibilities a Google Ads Expert is expected to assume in their position:
- Keywords research & mapping
- Ad copywriting & optimization
- Campaign optimization strategies (keywords, copies, bidding strategies, etc.)
- Monitor budget and adjust bids to gain better ROI
- Fixing Ad Disapproval Issues
- Account Audit & Suggestions
- Conversion Tracking Implementation
- Producing reports for management (e.g. Excel & Google Data Studio)
- Well-versed in Excel, Google Sheets, and Data Studio
- Track KPIs to assess performance and pinpoint issues
- Coordination with Design & Development teams for Landing Page Creation & Optimization
- Basic knowledge of funnels and Zapier
- Analyze and optimize pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to increase ROI
- Manage and optimize display campaigns across multiple devices
- Collaborate with a team of marketers, Google Ads specialists, and engineers
Job Requirements
Below are the qualifications expected of a Google Ads Expert:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of business studies or relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads), and Google Analytics
- An understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM)
- Google Ads certification will be considered a plus point
- Competency in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce reports and presentations for clients
