The Recruitment Executive at Hi Tech Plastics Engineering plays a critical role in managing the entire recruitment cycle for both technical and non-technical positions across diverse sectors including industrial machinery and the FMCG industry. This position supports staffing needs for multiple departments such as warehouse, engineering, technical sales, manufacturing, production, supply chain, FMCG sales, creative marketing, and corporate functions. The Recruitment Executive works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective talent acquisition, while maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
This role requires a proactive approach to sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, backed by a solid understanding of the requirements specific to industrial and FMCG sectors. The ideal candidate has strong communication and negotiation skills, proficiency with recruitment tools and platforms, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Although this position does not include team management responsibilities, the Recruitment Executive ensures seamless coordination with hiring managers and support teams to meet organizational recruitment goals efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including manpower requisition, job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding coordination.
- Recruit for multiple roles in the industrial machinery sector such as sales engineers, service engineers, technicians, warehouse staff, procurement, supply chain, technical sales, accounts, operations, and administrative positions.
- Recruit for diverse FMCG roles including production staff, quality assurance, warehouse personnel, sales teams, merchandisers, supply chain specialists, creative and marketing personnel, retail/distribution staff, and corporate roles.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels including job portals, LinkedIn, social media, recruitment agencies, employee referrals, and internal databases to attract qualified candidates.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit based on both technical requirements and behavioral competencies.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring efficient and timely communication.
- Conduct initial HR interviews and provide assistance with the coordination of technical interviews.
- Maintain regular and clear communication with candidates to provide updates and ensure a positive recruitment experience.
- Prepare employment documentation such as offer letters and contracts, managing compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Maintain organized recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and generate recruiting performance reports such as hiring status, time-to-fill, and other key metrics.
- Draft and publish job advertisements across various recruitment platforms and social media to maximize outreach.
- Support employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality talent tailored to both the industrial machinery and FMCG business units.
- Coordinate pre-employment documentation, background verification, and joining formalities to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Assist in new hire orientation processes to facilitate quick assimilation of employees into the company culture and operations.
- Ensure all recruitment practices adhere strictly to organizational guidelines and respects equal opportunity employment principles.
