Backend Developer - Shopify

We are looking for a talented and experienced Backend Developer - Shopify to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to develop, and maintain Shopify stores/app with a focus on user experience, functionality, and performance. The Shopify Developer will be responsible for the development and deployment of new Shopify stores/App, as well as maintaining and optimizing existing ones.

You will work closely with the frontend developers to create a seamless and user-friendly experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain the backend of our clients' Shopify stores.

2. Develop custom Shopify apps to meet our clients' needs.

3. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both the store backend and custom apps.

4. Troubleshoot and debug issues with the stores and apps.

5. Optimize the stores' and apps' performance.

6. Collaborate with the frontend developers and designers to ensure a seamless user experience.

7. Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features and updates.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. At least 2 years of experience as a Shopify Backend Developer.

3. Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid and Shopify API.

4. Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

5. Experience with Git and version control.

6. Strong problem-solving skills.

7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
