Hire Hub is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) to join our healthcare team. The position operates within the morning shift schedule and requires candidates to be permanent residents of Gujranwala. The Medical Laboratory Technologist plays a vital role in maintaining quality control and quality assurance (QC/QA) within the laboratory setting. The candidate must diligently adhere to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) while documenting and reporting data precisely. While this role does not include team management responsibilities, the technologist must effectively collaborate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring laboratory processes meet quality assurance standards. Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory tests accurately following standard procedures to ensure reliable diagnostic results.
- Implement and maintain quality control and quality assurance protocols to uphold laboratory standards.
- Document and report laboratory findings accurately and timely to support medical diagnosis and treatment decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and maintain adherence to all laboratory safety and hygiene standards.
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to laboratory equipment or test results to maintain continuous workflow and accuracy.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret laboratory data and provide necessary technical support.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring availability while managing resources efficiently.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay current with advancements in laboratory technology and procedures.
- Follow strict confidentiality protocols regarding patient information and laboratory results.
- Contribute to the development and updating of laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance manuals.
