We are looking for a bright and capable System Administrator to join our team of IT professionals. Systems Administrator Role
· Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
· Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities

· Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that’s always up and running
· Coordinate with internal and external teams to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
Operational Responsibilities
· Responsible for designing, implementing, securing, maintaining and configuring reliable computer systems and network servers for its test, development and production environment
· Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
· To identify and analyze the issues that hamper the performance of the system, and to work in close coordination with the product development team and recommend the solutions for the issues
· Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by runningdiagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
· Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
· Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
· Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
· Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
· Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
· Monitor Servers health using management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed
· Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
· Interact with other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
· Perform security audits on a routine basis as well as plan and expand the current offerings related to services. Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary
· They maintain proper documentation of all the procedures, configurations, programs, etc.
· They may also need to do updating and upgradation of the network hardware and software
· They also provide the much needed customer support through e- mail, telephone, knowledge based programs and other resources
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator for 2+ years
· Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments
· Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
· Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Wildfly, PostgreSQL, MySQL, nginx, Jenkins, etc.
· Knowledge of servers and switches
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree
· IN depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.
· Hands on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL and/or MariaDB
· Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts
· Expert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting
· Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP
· Additional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC) will be considered an advantage
· Experience with or knowledge of operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
· Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
· Creating volumes, assigning to servers and remote replication
