The candidate must take ownership of customer complaint resolution from diagnosis to root cause analysis and follow through on implementing process improvements. Responsibilities include working with field service teams to support troubleshooting efforts and using diagnostic tools to monitor inverter performance consistently. The complaint engineer also ensures compliance with internal quality standards and industry regulations by documenting corrective and preventive actions meticulously. The position demands strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough product failure analysis to identify root causes of solar inverter issues reported by customers.
- Utilize diagnostic software and fault analysis tools specific to solar inverters to investigate and resolve field problems.
- Manage the customer complaint lifecycle, including receiving, tracking, and resolving technical issues effectively.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product quality and reduce repeat failures.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed technical reports documenting failure analysis, diagnostic findings, and recommended solutions.
- Monitor inverter performance through inverter monitoring systems to proactively detect potential faults.
- Support field service teams by providing technical expertise and guidance during on-site troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of solar inverter technology advancements and industry best practices.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes by analyzing complaint data and recommending enhancements.
