Magento Developer

We are looking for an experienced Magento Developer capable of handling both backend and frontend tasks. This role involves building a sandbox environment, updating our site (goisw.com) to the latest Magento core and extensions, and preparing the store for optimized product and pricing management before deploying back to live production.

Must Haves

5 to 7 years of proven Magento 2 experience (backend + frontend)
Strong understanding of eCommerce architecture, PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS/JS
Prior experience creating and managing staging/sandbox environments
Experience upgrading Magento core, themes, and third-party extensions
Ability to debug critical issues and optimize site performance
Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Create and configure a Magento sandbox/staging environment.
Upgrade Magento to the latest stable version including all core updates, patches, and extensions.
Ensure full compatibility and functionality after updates (no downtime or disruption).
Assist in adding and managing product catalogs, pricing, attributes, and categories.
Optimize site performance, code structure, and frontend user experience.
Implement fixes, enhancements, and custom functionality as needed.
Prepare the site for seamless migration back to the live production environment.
Troubleshoot issues and maintain documentation of all changes.

Job Timings: Evening to night shift, following US CST Time
