Web Developer - Backend

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or above in computer, electronics, communication related majors, with a master's degree being preferred. The candidate should have at least 2+ years of experience working with PHP and its main MVC frameworks like Laravel, Zend, CodeIgniter, etc.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain and improve backend applications using PHP and its MVC frameworks.
Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Write clean, maintainable, and self-documenting code, with a focus on best practices and scalability.
Debug and QA your own code to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Design databases and optimize performance for high-volume applications.
Collaborate with other team members to develop and maintain APIs and microservices.
Work with AWS infrastructure and services.
Use Git and Jira or other version control and issue tracking software to manage code and project tasks.
Write API documentation using tools like Scribe/OpenAPI/Swagger.
Use auth frameworks like JWT, OAuth, SAML to implement secure authentication.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or above in computer, electronics, communication related majors, with a master's degree being preferred.
2+ years of experience working with PHP and its main MVC frameworks.
Good command and knowledge of HTML/HTML5 & CSS/CSS3 and JavaScript.
Sound understanding of OOPs and MVC development.
2+ years of experience working with MySQL.
Experience with microservices or high-volume API-based applications.
Familiarity with Git and Jira or other version control and issue tracking software.
Web services knowledge is a must (SOAP, REST).
Excellent English communication skills with the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and team members in the project.
