Job Description

  • Assist Head of HR & Admin to develop a recruitment and selection plan to attract and maintain a well-qualified, diverse applicant pool.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources.
  • Conduct new employee orientations for Assistant Manager and below.
  • Plan and conduct training and orientation of newly inducted JTMs/Trainees in co-ordination with plants and Deputy Manager and below.
  • Employee orientation, development, and training.
  • Update competencies and skill level charts of all STMs. 
  • Identify staff development and training needs and recommend, develop and schedule training and development courses based on TNA.
  • Tests trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of training presentations.
  • Conducts training sessions, workshops, conferences, and seminars when required.
  • Ensure maintainance of training record and preparedness for TS-16949 re-certification.
  • Assists with the County’s training and employee development programs.
  • Helps design, implement, or procure training programs to achieve organization goals, reinforce culture, and facilitate change.
  • Ensure that all training are evaluated with ROI.
  • Performance Management and Improvement System.
  • Monitoring of Performance Appraisals including mid year reviews.
  • Organise monthly Employee of the Month, best Kaizen Awards ceremony in co-ordinate with IRO.
  • Revision/Improvement of Reward & Recognition policy.
  • Assist Head of HR & Admin in building-up of healthy and sustainable company culture based on core values and code of ethics.
  • Maintain continuous liaison and communication with officers and supervisors to address work performance problems.
  • Serve as a Human Resource Liaison with department(s)/STMs to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
  • Assist/Advise Head of HR & Admin on employee relations matters such as performance evaluations, compensation and discipline.
  • Assists departmental heads to ensure maintenance of morale and high motivation level of STMs to help retain talent in the company.
  • Conduct inquiries where required.
  • Grievance handling on shop floor.
  • Update job descriptions of existing STMs and develop JDs for new assignments.
  • Remain abreast with UN Global Compact initiatives and ensure timely submission of COP (Communication Progress Report).
  • Assist Head of HR & Admin in CSR activities.
