Job Description


Production and In-house Maintenance:

  • Achieve production plan given by PPMC Department.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement in processes and procedures.
  • Take corrective actions emanating from customer complaints and in-house production issues through the Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis process.
  • Take necessary initiatives to enhance production capacity through Time & Motion study and overall Process Improvement in order to achieve cost savings, overtime reduction and minimal material wastage.
  • Coordinate with machine and mold maintenance team to eliminate causes of defects and rejection.
  • Monitor and maintain the stock of necessary spares of critical machines and ordering from import for low inventory.
  • Maintain RFD stocks of critical parts to 30 days and non critical parts up to 7 days minimum.
  • Reduce rejection upto the target.
  • Reduce in house and external defects and do 5 why analysis.

HSE & Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain safety and regulatory compliance relating to the production facility
  • Work closely with quality personnel to review product consistency while monitoring rejection rates to determine trends and areas of improvement.

Budgeting and Budget Monitoring:

  • Assist and actively participate in preparation of cost effective OPEX and CAPEX budget proposals and monitor actual expenses incurred.
  • Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.


  • Responsible for planning daily overtime requirement of production staff keeping in view off days. Also, responsible to monitor and control any unplanned overtime that may be necessitated due to unforeseen exigencies of work.

  • Analyze work flows/layouts for improvements, evaluate & approve Kaizens.
  • Control and approve over times of production with justification.
  • Ensure all training needs of Production staff are evaluated, completed, and renewed as needed.
  • Lead daily meeting with all Incharges of departments to discuss and resolve daily issues.
  • Lead weekly meeting with service departments.
  • Working with managers to implement the company's policies and 5S goals.
  • Responsible standardization through effective implementation of IMS, SHE, 5S and Yamazumi.
  • Supervise staff, assign duties as required, mentor and train them for achieving success and evaluate their performance.
