HR Accounting Professional Corporation is a full-service accounting, tax, and business advisory firm based in Toronto. We provide one-on-one financial services to small businesses and middle-market companies throughout the Toronto region and beyond. Currently, we operate out of three locations to better serve you.The incumbent is working at our Support team office located in Lahore.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing engagements for preparation of financial statements
  • Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns
  • Filing of sales tax returns
  • Reporting engagement progress to superiors.
  • Researching and interpreting accounting standards and tax legislationCollaborating effectively with team members by being detail-oriented with notes to update others, use of internal chat, emailing team/clients, and coordinating client appointments with admin staff.

The Support team office`s working hours are set according to the Toronto office (EST): Monday to Friday from 8AM to 5PM EST.From mid-February to April 30 work weeks are expected to be extended and/or half days on Saturdays and Sundays to adjust to handle the increased volume of work of tax season.

Requirements Are:

  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
  • Must have at minimum an accounting degree.
  • Understanding of full cycle accounting
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Case ware, etc...)
  • Strong management and communication skills are a must.If you are a confident, dedicated, and hard-working professional who is motivated to achieve high standards of quality service and add value to clients, we would like to hear from you.

Specific Tasks

  • Retrieving, updating, and analyzing client financial data in Quickbooks Desktop or QBO.
  • Analysis of required Monthly, Quarterly, Annual adjusting entries to be performed.
  • Building financial statements using Caseware Working Papers
  • Regular status updates of Client entered in the Work Flow software.
  • Proficient and professional email communications with clients.
  • Team collaboration on client engagements and taking ownership/responsibility of completing tasks.
