As part of the Programmes Support Unit and under the direct supervision of the Human Resource Coordinator, the incumbent of the post will have the following responsibilities:
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for recruitment and retention efforts and employee administration.
Work closely with the HR Coordinator to ensure timely and effective recruitment of qualified candidates, according to Organization policies and procedures.
Facilitate in recruitment process, including; contacting short-listed candidates for testing and interviews, conducting tests and interviews, completion of all HR related forms for new hires within the first month of their joining, and assist in orientation for new staff.
Maintain a database of employment examinations and interviews.
Prepare all personnel and administrative related correspondences (job offer letters, employment contracts, promotions, transfers, retirement’s resignation and others)
Ensure that personnel files for all staff are actively maintained, up-to-date, and in accordance with Organization HR policies & procedures.
Ensure that all the leaves are properly recorded and are in accordance to the time sheets submitted.
