Metro Hospitality is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support its HR and recruitment operations, focusing primarily on US-based hiring in Arizona. This full-time remote role requires working Arizona (MST) hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Reporting directly to the Director of HR, the successful candidate will be involved in sourcing, screening, onboarding, and maintaining HR records while ensuring compliance with company policies and confidentiality. Strong English communication skills, professionalism, and familiarity with HR tools and processes are essential to thrive in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Director of HR to support daily HR and recruitment activities.
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates for US-based roles.
- Manage job postings across various US job boards and recruitment platforms.
- Coordinate interviews across multiple US time zones, with a focus on Arizona (MST).
- Maintain and update applicant tracking sheets, employee records, and HR databases.
- Support onboarding and documentation for new hires using BambooHR.
- Assist with employee benefits enrollment, including medical, dental, vision, and other forms.
- Contribute to the design and improvement of onboarding processes, training modules, and SOP documentation.
- Track and prepare HR-related KPIs such as recruitment metrics, turnover rates, and onboarding progress.
- Prepare HR letters, reports, and recruitment summaries as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company HR policies and uphold strict confidentiality standards.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Director of HR as required.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of HR principles and recruitment processes.
- Experience or familiarity with US hiring practices is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with BambooHR is highly preferred.
- Experience assisting with employee benefits enrollment, including medical, dental, and vision plans.
- Strong knowledge of KPIs, training workflows, and onboarding procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to coordinate schedules and interviews across US time zones.
- Willingness to work Arizona hours (MST) from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a fully remote environment.
Compensation and Work Location
This is a full-time remote position offering a monthly salary ranging from Rs45,000 to Rs55,000. Candidates from international locations are encouraged to apply, provided they can work during the specified Arizona time zone hours.
