HR Construction is seeking an experienced Site Incharge to oversee road construction projects across various locations in Sindh. This position requires a professional with at least seven years of hands-on experience in civil construction, particularly road construction and related earthworks. The Site Incharge will be responsible for comprehensive site management, ensuring that daily work is executed efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications. Managing a team of 30 personnel, the candidate must demonstrate strong leadership to supervise labor, machinery, and site staff while maintaining effective coordination with the Head Office and site stakeholders.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in construction safety management, project scheduling, and quality control. They must ensure the proper utilization of resources including materials, vehicles, and machinery, while maintaining accurate progress reporting. The role demands active communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to enforce discipline and safety protocols rigorously. Willingness to work at various company sites in Sindh is essential for this full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily site operations ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
- Coordinate labor, machinery, and vehicle deployment to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
- Oversee material control including monitoring stock levels, usage, and requisitions to avoid project delays.
- Maintain detailed daily progress and site reports and communicate effectively with the Head Office.
- Enforce site discipline, attendance, and adherence to safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
- Identify and resolve pending site issues promptly, reporting critical matters to the management.
- Collaborate with client representatives, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Lead and mentor a team of 30 personnel, fostering teamwork and promoting productivity.
- Schedule and manage project timelines to meet deadlines and ensure smooth site operations.
- Implement quality control measures to guarantee the work meets stipulated standards and specifications.
- Utilize practical knowledge to adapt to site challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
- Maintain effective communication channels including reporting and WhatsApp coordination for timely updates.
