HR Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Surveyor to join their road construction projects across Sindh. The successful candidate will lead a team of five, conducting precise site surveys, level checking, and alignment marking to ensure the accuracy and quality of construction work. This role demands practical expertise in using surveying instruments such as total stations and level machines, along with strong measurement and calculation skills. The Surveyor will work closely with site and technical teams, maintaining thorough records and coordinating daily activities to meet project requirements efficiently.
The Surveyor must have at least three years of experience in road construction or civil works and hold a relevant Survey Diploma or DAE in Civil Engineering. The position requires someone who is honest, careful, responsible, and comfortable reporting progress through mobile platforms. Willingness to work at varied company sites throughout Sindh is essential. This full-time role offers an opportunity to play a crucial part in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects while managing and supporting a dedicated team in the field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct precise site surveys and perform level checking to support road construction activities.
- Mark alignment, levels, and layout based on project specifications and site requirements.
- Assist in measurements related to road work, earthwork, asphalt layers, and general civil site operations.
- Lead and coordinate with the Site Incharge, Site Supervisor, and technical staff for smooth survey operations.
- Maintain detailed survey records, field notes, and measurement logs for accurate documentation.
- Support quantity verification processes and monitor work progress to ensure compliance with plans.
- Operate survey instruments such as total stations and level machines carefully and correctly to guarantee data accuracy.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, site survey issues, or necessary corrections promptly.
- Ensure all measurements, markings, and levels meet the highest standards of accuracy throughout the project.
- Supervise and mentor a team of five survey personnel, ensuring efficient task allocation and teamwork.
- Manage daily team activities, providing guidance and troubleshooting challenges encountered during fieldwork.
- Utilize mobile and WhatsApp platforms to report site progress and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Uphold safety standards and company policies while working on various construction sites across Sindh.
- Adapt to dynamic work environments and readily travel to different company sites as per project demands.
