HR Construction is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to manage and oversee the plant-level material movement for their construction sites in Sindh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation of weighbridges for accurate weighing of vehicles carrying construction materials, ensuring precise data entry, and maintaining thorough dispatch records. This role requires the ability to work day or night shifts as per the operational demands of the company. The position demands strong integrity, punctuality, and attention to detail, alongside basic computer literacy and proficiency with communication tools. As the Weighbridge Operator, the candidate will coordinate closely with security personnel to verify gate passes and vehicle details, maintain comprehensive logs, and submit daily reports to ensure smooth dispatch operations. The role involves careful oversight to detect discrepancies in materials and weights and requires a flexible approach to work locations across various company plants and sites. A minimum of five years of relevant experience in weighbridge operation, dispatch control, or a related field in construction or plant management is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities

  • Operate the weighbridge for capturing first weight, second weight, and calculate the net weight of vehicles carrying materials.
  • Issue weight slips, Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and other dispatch-related documents accurately and promptly.
  • Control and monitor material inward and outward movement within the plant premises to maintain order and accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed logs of vehicles entering and exiting, gatepass records, and dispatch documentation for audit and tracking purposes.
  • Collaborate with security personnel to verify gate passes and inspect vehicles, ensuring compliance with company regulations.
  • Check for and report any discrepancies between the material quantity and recorded weights to avoid losses and errors.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of vehicle details, material types, weights, and dispatch information into company systems.
  • Prepare, verify, and submit daily dispatch and weighbridge operation reports for management review.
  • Communicate any irregularities or mismatches related to weights, dispatches, or documentation immediately to supervisors or the Head Office.
  • Handle day or night shift duties as assigned and remain flexible for transfers or work at different company sites as per operational needs.
  • Ensure the calibration and proper functioning of weighing scales and related equipment to maintain measurement accuracy.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies on honesty, punctuality, and responsibility while performing all operational duties.
