  • Know and fulfill Safety Policies & observing and enforcing a safe working environment within HSE guidelines and monitoring the wearing of correct PPE in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Supervise, co-ordinate, and check all works performed by shift personnel by involving optimal number of operators and other resources to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure efficient and productive work performance by shift personnel by achieving required performance indicators.
  • Assure efficient operation of gantry for the loading and unloading of road tankers.
  • Assure the efficient performance of all pipeline transfers to (from sea going vessel) and from the terminal (into White Oil Pipeline).
  • Assure the execution of tank to tank transfers or tank draining / emptying.
  • Provide stringent oversight over all operations involving the use of the FOTCO pipeline infrastructure, including the operation / securing of the owned fixed infrastructure (valves) connected to the FOTCO pipeline infrastructure.
  • Overlook all pipeline pigging operations performed by the terminal.
  • Generate ideas, proposals, participate in discussions and projects, share opinions with respect to terminal improvements that lead to better work organization and efficiency.
  • Assist in the overall product inventory control of the terminal.
  • Ensure proper accounting of product discharges from sea going vessels into shore tanks in the context of overall product inventories.
  • Ensure proper accounting of product of product loaded into road tankers in context of overall product inventories.
  • Ensure proper accounting of product unloaded from road tankers into shore tanks in the context of overall product inventories.
  • Ensure proper accounting of product transfers into pipelines systems (White Oil Pipeline) in the context of overall product inventories.
  • Enforce aim of zero product losses with respect to all operations related to the handling of road tankers.
  • Record and report any inventory / accounting discrepancies timely to management.
  • Maintaining of Loss/ Gain in ambient and 85F.
  • Ensure professional work with stored products (administration and reporting) in connection with planned or implemented operational activities, product flow, and product level in shore tanks.
  • Ensure timely accurate data entries in IT systems employed and availability of all administrative data related to operational processes.
  • Participate in preparation, circulation and updating of documentation of the Operational Department (regulation, job descriptions, instructions, reports, training materials) in accordance with binding procedures, nomenclature of files and other regulatory enactments.
  • Contribute to the administration / generation / updating of Standard Operating Procedures related to his / her scope of work.
  • Execute orders received from the Customer Service Department. In case of necessity to make changes together with specialists from the Customer Service Department.
  • Report executed orders to the Customer Service Department to ensure processing.
  • Make proposals about necessity for new projects to improve operational capabilities and to increase diversity of services available to customers.
  • Assist in the supervision of operational project implementation process in accordance with project documentation.
  • Ensure that operational equipment is operated correctly and in accordance with all safety requirements.
  • Identify required repair works related to operational equipment, inform management of Operational Department about the necessary repair works.
  • Responsible for isolation of equipment and issuance of work permits for preventive & shutdown maintenance work.
  • Ensure proper work conditions for safe and effective performance of repair works in accordance with previously approved work permit.
  • Lead the members of the operational shift to achieve excellency in safety and operational performance.
  • Ensure an efficient and cost effective organizational structure, processes, procedures and (professional) culture.
  • Implement and execute HR policies, plans and programs in order to ensure personnel resources meeting current and future business requirements.
  • Provide professional leadership to subordinates, their professional development and conduct fair assessments.
  • Build and maintain professional know how, make know how available to colleagues and translate know how to the specific situation.
  • Safeguard professional development of subordinates.
  • Prepare training programs and materials to ensure successful succession.
