Summary: The role of Brand Manager is to work with the objective of maximizing the sales volume and profitability. She will lead by example and ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service and the achievement of the sales targets of the brand; responsible for driving the growth of the brand within an organization and ensuring all aspects of its marketing; recruit, train and develop a highly motivated, service focused sales team; drive, manage and support all sales and promotional activity of the, making commercial decisions based on relevant store and competitor activity.

Main Responsibilities

·         Achievement of brand financials (sales and profit) and long term profitable growth.

·         Achievement of brand KPIs – Market Share, awareness, penetration and brand image levels.

·         Development and implementation of robust, effective ATL / BTL advertising/marketing plans.

·         Development of direct reports.

·         Timely and effective implementation of team objectives and projects.

·         To identify new opportunities & innovative ideas leading to business growth.

·         Close coordination with sales team for all trade executions.

·         Making monthly analysis report/presentation for Man Com.

·         Develop annual plans for Brand.

·         Being actively involved in market research for NSP or existing issues related to product quality or customer perception:

Main Challenges:

·         Understand and focus on business/brand building, marketing, customers and market insights.

·         Having a visionary approach in developing and prioritizing strategic ideas keeping in view market insights and local/regional vision & trends.

·         Shows leadership to be the prime mover in all brand related activities. Take initiative to identify and focus the attention of others on business building issues.

·         Influencing people within and outside the organization without direct / formal authority over them and demonstrating good people skills. Has to be highly effective in team situations.

·         To seek innovate, cost effective and breakthrough ideas to optimize marketing spending aimed at delivering corporate/brand(s) objectives

Educational Requirements:  

·         BS/BA degree in a business related function; MBA (concentration in Marketing preferred)  

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in related industry/field
