HRSI is looking “Head Chef”for one of its Client.
Position: Head Chef
Industry: Hospitality / Restaurant
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in relevant field.
Education: Diploma (Culinary) / Hotel Management
Salary: 60,000 – 70,000
Job Location: Karachi.
Gender: Male
Job Description:
- Menu creation: Head chefs are responsible for developing menus that reflect the restaurant's cuisine and style, while also considering customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Food preparation: Head chefs oversee the preparation of all food items, ensuring that they are prepared correctly and to the highest quality standards.
- Kitchen management: Head chefs are responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring that they are properly trained and following safety and sanitation protocols.
- Inventory and ordering: Head chefs are responsible for managing food inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Budget management: Head chefs work closely with restaurant management to ensure that the kitchen is operating within budget.
- Quality control: Head chefs are responsible for ensuring that all food leaving the kitchen meets quality and presentation standards.
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices.
- Proficient knowledge of human resources management.
- Excellent knowledge of BOH systems, ordering and inventory.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays.
