Job Description:

DTRE/EFS Application Preparation, Submission & Interim Quota Approval:

1. Coordinate with:

  • EM Customer for SKU and Volume confirmation against the export orders.
  • PK product team for BOM finalization for export SKUs.
  • PK finance team for costing and TP for export SKUs.
  • PK export factory team (SMD & PMD) for production wastage numbers.
  • Relevant stakeholders for the collection of variety of documents required to be submitted with DTRE/EFS application.

2. Consolidation of all the above data for:

  • Preparation of the DTRE/EFS application.
  • Reviewal and approval with finance team for DTRE/EFS application.

3. Submission of DTRE/EFS application to PK Customs.

  • Follow-up with PK Customs for processing of the DTRE/EFS application.
  • Arranging and facilitating PK Customs officials visit to factory as part of the DTRE/EFS application approval processing.
  • Follow-up with PK Customs for Physical Survey Report.
  • Liaison with the PK Customs for duties and taxes appraisement and onward Corporate Guarantee (preparation and internal finance alignment, sign off) submission to them.
  • Extensive follow-up with Assistant Collector, Additional Collector and Collector for approving DTRE/EFS application.
  • Submitting DTRE/EFS application in WEBOC system after all relevant Customs officials on file
  • Extensive follow-up with Assistant Collector, Additional Collector and Collector for approval of DTRE/EFS application in WEBOC.
  • Follow up with Customs for official notification issuance of the same.

4. Post customs approval: Communication and appraising to all relevant stakeholders, internal and external, after interim quota approval by PK Customs.

5. Coordination with PK Customs for communicating to IOCO for IOR determination.

IOCO Application Preparation, Submission & Full Quota Approval:

  • Collection and preparation of variety of documents required by IOCO as part of IOR determination.
  • Arranging and facilitating IOCO officials for Factory visit for IOR determination.
  • Following up with IOCO for IOR issuance and onward communication to Collectorate for complete quota approval.
  • Following up with Collectorate for processing of IOR and approval of 100% quota.
  • Extensive follow-up with Assistant Collector, Additional Collector and Collector for approval of 100% quota manually and in WEBOC.

Daily, Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Activities:

  • Close liaison with DTRE consultant – training, monitoring engagements and guidance in operations.
  • Daily updating of quota utilization.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly and yearly quota reconciliations internally and externally
  • Identification and clearance of import shipments as DTRE.
  • Clearance of export shipments under DTRE.
  • Communication of DTRE import shipments to WH team for respective recording and issuance for exports production.
  • Coordination with Leaf and WM regarding ordering so as to keep the stock on hand at minimum level at license expiry.

DTRE/EFS Audit Closure:

  • Preparation and submission of Reconciliation Statement upon license expiry to PK Customs.
  • Ensuring all documentation in factory is as per the communication to the Customs and DTRE law
  • Coordination, collaboration and engagement with PK Customs for smooth Audit initiation and closures of any open/expired license.
