We're looking for a full stack developer - JavaScript/NodeJS to join our growing team at RCAPPS. The ideal candidate will be able to carry out new product development from conception to implementation, high-quality and high-volume programming, while displaying a keen eye for quality assurance and code maintenance. Previous experience of working on large scale projects is a definite plus.
Skills & Requirements:
Here are some general skills that we're looking for:
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript (ES6).
- At least 4 years of experience in Node.js.
- Experience with popular Node.js frameworks and/or JavaScript libraries such as: Express, Hapi, Underscore/Lodash, Async, Bluebird, and Grunt.
- Have an understanding of the nature of asynchronous programming
- Experience building RESTful APIs.
- Ability to match design direction with markup and styling languages (HTML, CSS, SCSS).
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)
- A keen interest in emerging technologies and how they might impact future design decisions and strategic direction
