GENERAL:• Responsible for all activities related to the mechanical department including machineries, equipments and personnel.• Responsible for all mechanical aspects of machines in the company.
PLANNING:• Optimal utilization of resources including personnel• Proper and smooth operation of the department.• Maintenance of all machines and equipment of the company.• Increased productivity of the department.• Documentation.
ORGANIZATION: • Preventive maintenance of all machines and equipment.• Manage economically the inventory of the spares through purchase and local fabrication.• Utilisation of the manpower and their training.• Proper record keeping and documentation.• Drawings of spares and layouts etc.
SUPERVISION: • Personnel• Machines and equipment• Correspondence / documents.• Storage and handling of spares.
