Job Description:
- This is not a traditional nursing role in a hospital setting.
- We are all about primary care, focused on preventive care and human care.
- Our nurses will be the senior core of our health-coordinator team involved in providing inhome clinical care, administrative and coordinating patient’s healthcare tasks.
- Duties will include home visits (commute provided by the company), taking vitals, 2 lead ECGs, heart sounds, and basic protocol driven nursing assessment, leveraging technical gadgets in telehealth (training provided), educating patients about health conditions, blood draws, coordinating and completing timely nursing documentation, assisting with their patient panel’s specialists clinical appointments as needed, leading nursing assistants and educating them, closely working with assigned doctor and the patient panel as a team.
- Nurses working in our startup will be trained and supervised by doctors to manage basic medical care tasks.
- Interested nursing staff will have the opportunity to advance to nurse practitioner training and roles.
- Training includes US based Andvanced nurse practitioner protocols and courses.
Requirements:
- Registered nurses and licensed nursing assistants.
- We expect excellent communication skills with patients and within the team.
- Since charting/documentation is in a basic but highly functional and integrated EMR (electronic medical record), potential candidate should be comfortable using computers, smart phones, tablets, and familiar with MS Excel.
- Training will be provided on tele-health and technology aspects of care to all candidates.
- Since this position requires home visits, commute will be provided to female nurses, while travel allowance is excellent for those with their own commute arrangements.
