Functional Area: Computer Networking
- Ensure all computers connected with Centralized Software Solutions (CSS) are powered on.
- Ensure correct system time and date on daily basis.
- Submit report for out of order computers and other related hardware to designated officer/unit incharge under recipt at same day.
- Look after the LAN and ensure its smooth operation.
- Ensure smooth functioning of WAN/Wi-Fi along with necessary troubleshooting.
- Arrange basic computer training for office employees in consultation wiht local management.
- Submit progress report to Manager on weekly basis.
- Responsible for installation of software both OS and application as and when required.
- Ensure confidentialty of official/calssified information.
- Undertake any other responsibility assigned by the competent authority.
- Maintaining, configuring and monitoring virus protection software and email application.
- Maximaize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
