Job Responsibilities:
- Installs terminate and troubleshoot fiber cable systems in manholes, aerial
- plants, and on customer sites.
- Installs all types of connectors. Performs pigtail and fusion splicing of fiber optic cabling.
- Performs pre and post-tests on all installed or existing networks using OTDR and power meter.
- Routes cable in communication room for ISP and OSP.
- Enforces company and customer safety rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Measuring the signal strength of television, telephone, and internet connections to ensure that there is adequate performance.
Education & Requirements:
- Matric/Intermediate/DAE
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
