Draftsman must be proficient in Solid works, or sketchup, MS office. Must be experienced in completing technical drawings for manufacturing process. Draftsman will also need to complete technical writings such as product manuals, manufacturing SOPs.
Nice to have skills: wood work ability, reverse engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering.
Following responsibilities will apply,
3D Part and Assembly files completed in Solid works,
- Technical Drawings of each part fully dimensioned, adhering to attached format, Files must be in DWG and PDF format
- Technical drawings of final assembly dimensioned, file must be in PDF format,
- Bill of materials outlining:
- Material Volumes x cost per volume x FOS
- FOS = Factor of safety specified by table below
- (Item / FOS) (Chair / 1.5, Table / 1.25, Live edge / 1.5) (Laminated bent / 2)
- Four 3D rendered JPEG Images of assembled product from different views,
- View 1: Isometric rendered view
- View 2: View show casing product
- View 3 & 4: Any view show casing product function
- Manufacturing SOP, with standard times
- FAT – factory acceptance test, load testing
- Product Manual
- Note: *secondary function
