Job Description

  • Uses internal and external application interfaces to analyze chargeback cases and transaction details
  • Coordinates with internal teams to gather relevant information and to obtain services related to chargeback process
  • Coordinates with fraud response team to discuss or report suspicious transactions
  • Communicates with external stakeholders such as cardholders, merchants, clients, program managers, payment networks, FIs for understanding, gathering or providing information necessary to process chargeback claims
  • Duly prepares chargeback claims and submits to payment networks (MasterCard, VISA etc.) with correct reason code
  • Downloads payment network transaction files and submits to bank(s)
  • Compiles and submits daily shift summary report and other periodic reports to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensures 100% compliance to internal and external SOPs, standards and regulatory requirements
  • Analyzes process data to identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Stays abreast with procedures and regulations related to the chargeback process

We are looking for:

Education: BA/BBA/BBIT or equivalentExperience:0 to 1 year. Prior experience in client services or contact center would be considered a plus


  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written English
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Good arithmetic and computing skills
  • Good analytical skills with an appetite for learning
  • Quality conscious with attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence level to communicate with international customers and stakeholders
  • Ability to perform under stress
  • Familiar with the use of business applications for routine operations
  • Readiness to maintain flexible timings to serve global clientele across different time zones
