Job Description

  • Support all server and desktop based operating systems and applications, Microsoft Server Windows 2008/R2 and 2012/R2 - Active Directory, Group Policy deployment/management, Windows Desktops 7, 8 and 10
  • Perform remote diagnostics using enterprise remote control utilities
  • Provide support to customers/teams remotely and over the phone
  • Ensure that the Service Level Agreements (SLA) are adhered to at all times
  • Provide coordination and be an escalation point for the local technical and project teams
  • Manage issues escalated from service desk, ensuring all activities do not cause Service Level Agreements (SLA) violation
  • Support all parts of the infrastructure with a focus on Problem Management of Applications including Core Platforms (Server 2003/2008/2012), Exchange, Backup solutions, DNS/DHCP/Group Policy
  • Diagnose the cause of problems of incidents escalated from other teams and investigate where possible provide suitable solutions
  • Monitor and make recommendations regarding the performance of servers within the environment
  • Analyze, detect, identify and correct technical problems and deficiencies
  • Perform detailed analysis on server/system failures or review analysis performed by other teams

Must Required Experience:

  • Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server including mail-flow troubleshooting
  • Virtualization - VMware ESX and Hyper V
  • Knowledge of Antivirus Software (ie: Kaspersky, Trend Micro)
  • Backup software (Backup Exec)

Candidate will be preferred if possess:

  • MCSE/MCITP/MCSA Certification
  • Virtualization - VMware ESX  5.x/6.x VCP Certification
  • Knowledge of Citrix Netscaler Load Balancer/ Hardware Load Balancer
  • Knowledge of Barracuda Email Security Gateway
  • Knowledge of Azure AD, Express Route and O365
  • Knowledge of Amazon Route53, Direct Connect, S2, S3 and Glacier
  • Knowledge of MDM & DLP solutions
  • Knowledge of Antivirus Software (ei. Kaspersky)
  • Backup software (Backup Exec)
  • Basic Knowledge of Linux platform (Basic Installation/Configuration)
