• Defines Product Strategy and roadmap 
  • Leads and participates in planning meetings and provides advice and guidance on the direction of products 
  • Translates product vision into product roadmaps; identifies enhancements to current features and functionality 
  • Owns the product backlogs and maintains them in order of priority; develops product implementation timelines, associated milestones and project plans 
  • Translates business needs into requirements and writes user stories and acceptance criteria; coordinates with IT business analysts to finalize user stories 
  • Works with user interface and user experience teams to create user-friendly and consistent UI/UX 
  • Approves user stories and acceptance criteria; ensures that requirements are accurate, sufficiently detailed and supports business needs 
  • Serves as the Product Owner on the Agile/SCRUM team; participates in SCRUM ceremonies such as daily stand-up, sprint planning, release planning, etc. 
  • Identifies and manages risk for overall implementation, develops and executes risk mitigation strategies, raises issues as appropriate 
  • In coordination with Technical Manager decides the scope for upcoming releases, release dates and product launches, plans and coordinates UAT before final approval for release Monitors and measures the launched software products and incorporates the findings back into the product development process 
  • Helps diagnose and resolve production support issues. Works closely with the Technical development and operations team to analyze production issues, impact resolution options and timeline to fix Reports bugs found in product through the appropriate channel Understands the applications and the business use cases for each function; ensures that the needs of the business partners and end users are being met.
  • Communicates software product plans, roadmap, benefits and results to Business team 
  • Maintains awareness of user trends, preferences and environmental changes relevant to our products and customer/user audiences
