- Liaise with clients and business representatives to understand the needs of the business
- Liaise with team to design solution architecture for businesses and clients
- Ensure compliance to solution architectural design in the implementation of projects
- Provide architectural guidance to the project team
- Render consulting and technical support services on project implementation to the project team
- Explain technical issues and IT solution strategies to stakeholders and other IT professionals
- Keep an accurate record of materials used, expected deliverables, and milestones achieved
- Ensure that solution milestones are accomplished at the right time
- Guide the activities of the solution architecture unit to ensure timely completion of projects
- Ensure that solution architecture (software and programs) designed are in sync with business needs and hardware
- Review the proposal of vendors and suppliers to ensure that quality inputs are delivered at the least possible cost
- Monitor the activities of external programmers or developers on IT solution projects
- Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution architecture
- Shifting deal emphasis from Value Offered to Value Created. Assist in bringing individuals and organizational units to stand behind and promote the agreed strategies.
- Bridging between the technical teams and Higher Management to effectively transform business ideas into implemented solutions.
- Designing and reusing solutions based on the company’s frameworks.
- Staying current with trends across all layers of Technology stacks
- Managing scope and schedule to enable the team to deliver quality work
- Managing the Product Backlog and regularly conducting backlog grooming sessions
- Helping the team to maximize productivity, by continuously monitoring the project progress and ensuring all work streams are running smoothly
- Organizing and facilitating Scrum meetings; Daily Standup, Iteration Planning, Iteration Reviews/Demos and Retrospective meetings
- Proactively identifying and communicating issues and working towards resolving them
- Sharing project status with Higher Management and Program and Release Management
- Working with the team to identify and address any project risks, schedule changes, cross-functional dependencies and communicating the same to all stakeholders
- Software Specifications Analysis and Documentation
- Preparing training material, project documentation, and management reports
