We are looking for an experienced Medical content writer on full time basis for a home based job.
The Medical Writer will generate engaging, vibrant content for a variety of healthcare-focused digital projects, including Websites, live video scripts, and slide sets. He or she will work closely with the team over the life of a project to ensure that deliverables are medically/scientifically accurate, rigorously supported by validated sources, and aligned with client objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Acquire a medical/scientific knowledge base for assigned project
- Develop content that is scientifically and medically accurate, meets the stated strategic objectives of the project, is within job specifications as defined by the team/client, follows technical specifications, and is at the appropriate level and tone for the intended audience(s)
- Source supporting references and annotate all pieces in accordance with client requirements
- Work closely with a team to ensure accurate implementation of approved content
- Provide QA oversight through all phases of content development, pre- and post-review and production
- Continually communicate project status to internal stakeholders through various formal and informal mechanisms
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
- · Advanced scientific/medical degree or equivalent experience
- · Experience of working as a medical writer in skincare industry
- · Working knowledge of PubMed and other medical/scientific resources
- · High level of attention to detail, with excellent organizational/project management skills and a proven ability to multi-task
- · Excellent grammar and proofreading skills and extremely detail-oriented
- · Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and dynamic environment, and to deliver high-quality products on time and on budget
- · Strong interpersonal skills
- · Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Web-based applications
Desired Skills and Experience
· Strong knowledge of medical/legal/regulatory submission and review processes, including annotation of references in the requirements
· Previous experience of developing impactful content for digital pieces such as websites, videos, and/or applications
· Understanding of current medical aesthetics industry guidance and processes
