We are a UK based independent firm of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and are looking to appoint a practicing Senior Accounts office .
Our clients range from smaller owner managed businesses through to large limited companies, as a result the role will offer an excellent opportunity to develop experience within an accounting practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
The role will involve the following:
· Plan, execute and complete company and group accounts within set time frames and budgeted costs
· Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
· Preparation of income tax, capital allowances and corporation tax computations
· Preparation of monthly management accounts
· Supervision of junior staff responsible for bookkeeping and VAT returns
Skills and Qualities
To be considered for this position it is expected that the successful candidate will have at least 1 to 3 years of experience working within a UK based firm of accountants.
You should have developed experience of preparing statutory accounts and tax computations with little supervision and have a good understanding of UK bookkeeping, VAT returns, accounts and tax returns. Knowledge of IRIS, CCH, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks is preferred.
