About the Job
We are looking for competent, experienced Front End Developers. You will be a remote worker that works in tandem with UK office hours from your home during regular business hours (at least 40 hours per week).
After a successful probationary period in your home country, the selected candidates will be sponsored (with a work permit) to work from our London office. You will be provided more information about this process on your Job offer at the final interview
Responsibilities:
- Determining the structure and design of web pages.
- Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
- Developing features to enhance the user experience.
- Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
- Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
- Building reusable code for future use.
- Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
- Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
- Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting it to the back end
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Skills/ Experience Required:
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Should possess more than 3 years of experience in React, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS
- Proven experience as a Front-end Developer or similar role
- Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
- Experience in WordPress will be added advantage
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
- Familiarity with Figma is added advantage
- knowledge of Laravel, Php and WordPress is advantageous
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great attention to detail, Organizational skills, an analytical mind
- Work experience in GIT, JIRA, Bitbucket
- Code consistency, readability and ability to learn new technologies
