1. Prepare and keep updating the Internal Audit Charter of the organization in line with the international standards and company’s business processes
2. Develop risk – based annual audit plans detailing the scope, nature and timing of audit activities spread over monthly audit schedules.
3. Responsible to perform monthly internal audit of all company operated outlets of Company through self-visits and prepare monthly audit report and submit to Executive Director Support Services
4. Responsible to perform warehouse audit on Monthly basis, prepare audit report and directly submit to Executive Director Support Services
5. Responsible to perform daily cash audit directly by checking the cash account on monthly basis and submit report to Executive Director Support Services
6. Responsible to perform surprise cash count at Retail Outlets and submit report to Executive Director Support Services
7. Responsible to perform pre-audit activities by verifying sales/purchase/expense and retail vouchers with the entries in Software
8. Responsible to audit all the entries made by sales persons, store, warehouse and retail outlet staff
9. Monthly Verification of Payroll sheet once it is made by accounts, before the issuance of salaries
10. Prepare audit reports in line with the approved audit plan
11. Discuss audit findings and recommendations with line managers and report significant issues to senior management.
12. Monitor the timely implementation of the management actions recommended in the audit reports
13. Carries out audit work for appraising the implementation of agreed recommended actions in last meeting
14. Assist the development of an internal control culture, including training to staff
15. Conduct ad-hoc investigations and reviews as requested by senior management
16. Ensure Compliance for External Audits & arrange the periodic external audits of the company
17. Corporate governance guidance/audit committee/accounts reports audit
18. Any other task related to internal audit assigned by senior time to time
