Key Responsibilities:
- Planning & forecasting.
- Making purchase order against Supplier’s proforma invoice and opening of L/C, Bank Contract, Advance and DA payment with all necessary documents.
- Coordinate with insurance company for cover note & provide details and issue policy.
- Follow-up with suppliers about shipment, track vessel schedule weekly and arrange security deposit & follow up for releasing.
- Correspondence with bank about rates, original import documents and arrange retirement.
- Verification of duties and taxes and arrange pay order for shipment clearance.
- Save Custom Duties (S.R.O.) and making Advance payments, CAD & IFDBC.
- Negotiation with Forwarders, check bills and coordinate for bill clearance.
- Contact to Customs to make clearance procedures for shipments by air/sea.
- Control air/sea freight charge for import & control booking air/sea shipment to assure in-time schedule for import shipments.
- MIS report (decided by the management).
- Coordinate with warehouse department for the placement of consignments.
- Adapt to the changes or requirement by the government authorities.
- Any other job assigned by the management.
