A well-established company in the fashion apparel sector is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team as an Incharge MMC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of garment accessories, fabrics, and related materials. This role demands a strong understanding of market dynamics and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement. The position is based in Lahore and requires full-time, in-person commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for garment accessories, fabrics, and related materials.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Monitor market trends and evaluate supplier performance to refine purchasing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to accurately assess material requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.
- Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in purchasing within the garment or fashion apparel industry.
- Proven expertise in procuring garment accessories, fabrics, and related materials.
- Strong awareness of market trends and an established network of suppliers.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, in-person work environment.
