Roles and Responsibilities:
We are now recruiting a highly motivated, intelligent and motivated candidate for the position of Video Editor. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with compiling videos from various clips and film footage and the ability to learn and grow their knowledge, keeping up to date will all industry standards. The tasks and responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Manipulate and edit film/footage pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
- Create rough and final cuts
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
- And other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
Experience Required:
- At least one year or more of video editing experience, preferably in the fashion industry.
Office Timings:
Monday to Saturday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Please note that this is NOT a work from home position.
Salary:
A market competitive salary will be offered to the right candidates.
