THIS ROLE IS IDEAL FOR YOU...
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- The drive to work and understand strict brand guidelines for both internal and external corporate communications, as well as the ability to use initiative to recommend new designs and ideas.
- Strong understanding of typography, branding, color theories, layout design with attention to detail for digital and print artwork.
- Strong organization skills, with the ability to maintain a personal caseload for each client with minimal supervision able to balance workload based on client priority, as well as manage workload for tight deadline project delivery dates.
- To have excellent time management skills and be able to manage multiple projects to meet both client and business milestones
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written when working with internal staff and external clients
- High level of proficiency in English, sufficient to undertake proofing activities utilizing English Language materials and to communicate effectively with internal staff and external clients
- IT literate especially in using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- To work independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm to ensure the design work is of the highest quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ownership of the development of creative assets/documents - creating innovative graphics and visual designs for client business needs.
- To maintain strong brand guidelines and fully understand a variety of brief types, even with limited information - delivering high quality work.
- Planning concepts by researching new design trends, gathering innovative ideas for improving visual design.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
- At least 1 year commercial design experience in graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.
- Visual Arts BS/BA or equivalent experience.
- Corporate design understanding.
- Excellent IT skills, especially with design software, in particular, Adobe Creative Cloud
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills. The ability to use PowerPoint, Word, Google Slides and Docs as design programs.
- Understanding of user experience and digital design.
- Exceptional creativity & innovation, combined with adaptability and resilience.
- An understanding of the latest design trends and their role within a commercial environment.
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week during the core hours of the business from 12.00 to 20.00 - Monday to Friday.
