- We are looking for an Ink Chemist/Maker for our proposed ink manufacturing plant in Bangladesh for Flexo, Gravure, CMA, PP woven bags printing inks.
- Candidates with working experience in top ink formulation plant with M.Sc.(Chemistry) or B.Tech., B.Sc. with Diploma in Ink/Paint Technology or equivalent.
- Must have 8-10 years of experience in formulation and color matching of inks, lacquers, polymers, resins, and solvents.
- Candidate must have good knowledge of Ink-Matching, Color shade, etc.
Key Deliverables
- Formulates new ink systems for new and existing accounts.
- Modifies existing ink systems to meet new customer requirements.
- Conducts resin/pigment evaluations, as needed to meet customers' specifications, provide cost savings, etc.
- Screen and research solvents, polymers, pigments and chemical additives to assess their performance and processing requirements in ink formulation
- Color matching/formulation visually and with spectrophotometer software.
- Evaluation of raw material substitutes and new applications.
- Maintain Ink Lab Records, color card & color shade records.
- Maintain MSDS file on all hazardous materials.
- Compliance of all processes of QMS & EMS.
- Responds to and/or resolves customers' specification problems.
- On-site customer training to integrate products utilizing dispensers, spectrophotometers, and mixing equipment
- Deal and interact with customers on technical topics related to ink troubleshooting, printing process, and new product development
- Manage, direct and train other technical research and development personnel
- Interact with technicians, production, management, and customers
