Innovadel Technologies is a UK based company and we are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who has hands on experience in web development. As a Senior Software Engineer you will be on the leading edge of innovation within the development team in a start-up like environment where you will get the opportunity to work on some of the latest development technologies. We are looking to expand our Lahore based development team in order to continue on ongoing development of our globally distributed, highly scalable, application for the global audience. The successful candidate should be able to:
- Lead and mentor junior developers in the team.
- Produce system requirements including designs and estimates that meet business needs.
- Create well-structured, fit for purpose code of excellent quality.
- Identify design patterns and coordinating with team members to maximize code re-usability Optimise unit test codes for best coverage.
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure best practices and quality.
- Find ways to improve and enhance working practises.
- Conduct research on tools, technologies, domains and solutions relevant to the assigned product(s) and/or project(s)
Requirements:
- Bachelors/Master degree in Computer Sciences from an accredited institute
- Excellent knowledge of Java 8, Spring (Boot, MVC and Security), Hibernate
- Working knowledge of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap
- Working Knowledge of Ant and Maven
- Hands On Experience with Git
- Proven experience in software development with a range of programming languages and environments
- Experience of complex Internet applications
- Database design experience with large database systems
- Object Oriented Design experience
- Flexible approach to work in rapidly changing environment
Desirable:
- Experience and knowledge of Agile methodology
- Experience with Testing frameworks like TestNG and Mockito
- Web application security knowledge
- Experience in working on MySQL Database
