Innovative Solutions is hiring a VoIP Engineer.
Qualification: Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science/Engineering.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Ability to architect the complete design of audio/video calls and messaging apps using XMPP/SIP.
- Expertise in technologies like Erlang, SMACK, libjingle, WebRTC, Strophe.js WebSockets, Ejabberd, Openfire, SRTP, and ZRTP.
- Ability to perform a comparative analysis of technologies and finding the optimal solution.
- Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality products with high scalability and containerization.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in VoIP product and Middleware development.
- Excellent programming skills in Erlang / C++ / Python.
- Exceptional programming skills in RTP/ RTCP / XMPP client applications.
- Good understanding of IP Telephony/VolP related protocols, middleware, back-end, and architecting solutions from the ground up.
- Experience in the development/engineering/operations of VoIP products.
- Solid understanding of WebSockets, message queues for signalling, and WebRTC for media transport of P2P audio & video calls.
- Expertise in Micro Services, Middleware, Billing Engines, Charging Systems, Web and Cloud.
- Hands-on experience in integration and customization of open-source components or media packages for voice and telephony.
- Hands-on experience of databases like MySQL, SQL, Cassandra, Mongo and Postgresql.
- Version Control/ Management: Git, SVN, Jenkins.
- Kamailio, OpenSlPS, Asterisk, FreeSwitch, STUN/ICE, SIP load balancer, Edge - Proxies, Audio/Video Codecs, Real-time Telco Billing, VAS, IN, CDR, EDR, WebRTC Gateways, Media servers, Wireshark. 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE , Wireless, VolP/SlP/SDP packet level extensive troubleshooting etc.
