Insignia Software is seeking energetic candidates to provide technical support and training for Insignia products such as Insignia Library System, Insignia Student Information System. Insignia customers include K-12, public, academic and special libraries. As a Product Support Specialist for Insignia, you will gain an in-depth understanding of Insignia products, to provide customer support to customers all over the world.
Requirements:
This position involves providing support for various software products. Experience in other library automation systems and student information systems is an asset. Past experience in providing technical support is also a MUST. Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:
1. Providing phone and email support to troubleshoot user issues2. Recommendation product enhancement to improve the product3. Responsible for quality control/bug testing of new releases4. Research projects5. Support product development through research and documentation6. Updating knowledgebase cases and release notes
Qualifications:
1. Library diploma or MLIS or an IT diploma or degree in computer science2. People person with excellent phone manners3. Good English writing and speaking skills4. High typing speed5. Someone who both enjoys and excels at problem solving6. Very knowledgeable on all Microsoft Office products7. IT related experience an asset8. 2-5 years experience required

Night Shift will be 9 hours with 1 hour lunch break, start time will vary Statuary Holidays: Local statuary holidays Work will be done remotely from home, must have stable high speed internet access
Must be fully committed to Insignia, must not have any other part-time or full time job
