We are looking for an experienced PHP/WordPress developer who has a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in PHP, WordPress, PSD to Responsive HTML5, and CSS3. Knowledge of any other CMS like Drupal, Shopify, or Joomla would be a plus.
The developer must have the following skills in WordPress:
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively and up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• Strong knowledge of WordPress Platform
• Core expertise with PHP
• Expertise in WordPress Custom Theme Development
• Expertise in WordPress Plugin Integration
• Ability to integrate 3rd party APIs to the website.
• Should understand how to make WordPress manageable from admin panel
• Understands WordPress architecture and knows how to perform database and code optimization for WordPress
• Experienced with custom fields (ACF), Custom Post type, WP_Queries, etc...
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• PSD/Ai/XD/Figma to WordPres
• Building and supporting portals/membership areas (login/gated content).
• Researching, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve errors with plugins, themes, and hosting/server/domains.
• Theme Customization/Development
• Development of WordPress themes and plugins.
• eCommerce stores using WooCommerce.
• Creating Custom WordPress themes from scratch using shortcodes, widgets, page builders.
Taking ownership of issues or requests from our clients and seeing them through until they are resolved.
Checking the quality of work by reviewing everything that goes back to the client and ensuring that it’s up to our standards.
Creating client-friendly documentation.
