Responsibilities
- Work as part of a small team to build React Native iOS / Android applications for the company.
- Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.
- Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
- Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes.
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Release applications to the Apple and Google Play stores.
- Perform Code Review and Code Security Review activities before delivery according to development standards and deliver Code Review Reports
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native.
- Experience in developing mobile and web applications using modern cloud architectures.
- Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
- Thorough understanding of React Native and its core principles
- Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming
- Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code
- Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
- Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
- Solid testing experience including unit, integration testing. Appium, BDD is a plus
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine/Karma, Mocha, XCTest, etc.)
- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ)
- Strong understanding of Agile Methodology & Practices (Scrum / Kanban)
- Exposure to Version Control & Continuous Integration / Continues Deployments tools
